Raphael and Cathy Nguchie, along with their 4 children live in Kampala, Uganda. They started a spontaneous ministry in the northern war torn villages of Uganda. Many people came to Jesus and were given hope. They now have 33 churches planted with more on the way to unreached people in the villages. The physical needs and opportunities to help the people are great! Currently the Lord is moving in the villages and the people there are experiencing an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Along with ministering, Raphael is also an artist and creates works of art to help support his family in the ministry. Please watch the video above to find out more about their ministry. Thank you for your continued support!

Current needs of the ministry:

  • A Training Facility with dormitory to provide pastoral training for local pastors and potential leaders. Some 10 acre piece of land in Karuma was bought for this purpose. Cost: $150,000.

  • School Classrooms: Many children in the remote villages do not go to school. 3 Schools were started, where the church shed is turned into a classroom during the week, but as more kids turn up, there is a need to have different classrooms for different grades. Cost: $5,000 per classroom.

  • Acres of land: Many pastors need support for their families. Buying an acre of land helps the family grow their own food. Cost: $600 per acre.

  • Motorcycles: Regional overseers travel long distances to encourage and support the local churches and pastors through doctrinal teachings and many other ways. There is a need to replace old ones and provide new ones to those that do not have one. Cost: $1,200 per motorcycle.

  • Wells: Many villages do not have access to drinking water. Only 3 wells have been drilled so far, with 2 having been hand dug, which dry up when there is no rain. Cost: $4,000 per well.
